I played a game of Ticket to Ride today. It was the first time that I’d seen it in a while. The box was covered in some fancy art for its 15th anniversary. The board folded out to a size quite a big larger than normal. I didn’t come in last.
What time is dinner?
After walking along the creek for a while, we came up to the house to eat dinner. In through the garage, I hung my bathing suit up neat quick, making sure not to let it touch any other suits because of dangerous cooties. The kitchen sort of smelled like pasta in a meal kind of way. It seemed promising at first. I holed up in a corner of the couch for what I believed would be a couple of minutes.
Someone was shaking my shoulder. I stretched away sleep and looked at Grammy, who was looking at me with a slight smile. “Time for dinner”, she said warmly. I checked my phone, surprised at my unexpected nap. The time said “BOLGeN DOUBLOONS”.
